Collision Course #101: how to make a buffoon scream

after a night of carefree gallivanting & studyin in anne's room, i headed to usc for hp200.. was feelin a bit light-headed & dizzy.. because the msmc shuttle was late, i missed the usc tram.. phew! i was almost late for class.. tried to go to the cathedral for mass, but parkin was atrocious..

on the way home, my head began to pound & the undulation of the car didn't help any.. czador & eagle rock intersection, i mistakenly pressed the gas pedal even tho i consciously knew the traffic light was red.. i careened onto the sidewalk to avoid the incoming truck, which was carrying a huge load.. as 3 other cars screeched to avoid me, i hurriedly accelerated because the truck was literally inches away.. do u believe in angels?.. i do!.. mine just saved my life.. i have always wondered how people felt in those kinds of collisions.. i finally felt it firsthand.. no thought process entered my mind.. i seriously felt like a robot, steppin on the gas & break pedals.. i had no feelings.. even my heart, which should have increased its heartbeat because of the adrenaline, didn't even react.. maybe it was God, whose hands reached over & held the wheels & whose feet replaced my own.. He had done it so as to avoid panic & promote rational thinking.. i'm tellin u, if panic took over, i would not be here right now.. i'm shivering right now.. because it's cold? no.. it's because i made it..
